Channeling the inner Taylor Swift today **I don’t know about you but I’m feeling 22!!!**
Today is the day that I’m officially 22 years old! YAY! I remember when I was younger people always told me time flies by and I never believed them until now. As I sit and reflect on this past year of my life, I can’t even believe everything that God has done! It has been a fast paced, exciting year and I couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds!
In no particular order… here are 22 things I learned (or experienced!) in the past year of my life!
1. Being married to this man is pretty great. Can’t wait for all the years to come!
2. Learning to cook will come in time… for now we will eat a lot of delicious rice bowls! And for the nights that I try a new recipe and fail, a McDonald’s run will do.
3. On humid and rainy wedding days… messy buns and secret service headsets will do A’OK!
4. Even though my cat has to continue living at my parent’s house… I’m still a cat lover at heart!! Some day I will convince Caleb to let me have my own kitty at home! 😉

Learning to take a step back and trust that God knows every little and big detail in life!
6. Let your husband deal with the power tools. Life is safer this way.
7. The time will come when we get to be parents and love on our cute little kids (not for a few years, mom!!)… For now we will just be an aunt and uncle and we think that’s pretty great!!
8. Try on ugly sweater’s and take selfies with your sister just because!
9. Follow God’s plan even if you don’t know exactly what’s next.
10. Ride the little kid swings at the fair!
11. My little sister will always be my best friend… I’m so thankful for who God created her to be! Sophie… you are always allowed to come steal clothes out of my closet and play pacman with me! 🙂
12. Photographing for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep this year has taught me that life is so precious. My heart goes out to all of the families who had to say goodbye to their babies far too soon.
13. Learning to love football for Caleb… will the Vikings go to the superbowl next year!?
14. Dance it out and celebrate the little things in life!
15. Changing lightbulbs may or may not be dangerous.
16. Family is incredibly important and so so sweet. Spending time with them is priceless!
17. Our friends mean the world to us!
18. Joining together as a photography team is one of the best adventures we have had together so far!! Learning and growing together is so rewarding!

Community over competition is the way to go! Spending time with industry friends fills up the soul!!
20. Losing a family member is devastating… Hold the ones you love a little closer.
21. May the force be with you… becoming a Star Wars fan just for the husband. It was totally worth it.
22. I’ll always be daddy’s little girl. I love him so much!!
