Third trimester is finally here and I’m already one week done with it! Yay! That means only 11 more weeks (or so) until we get to meet our baby boy! Everything is becoming more real as we prepare for his arrival… we both feel overwhelmed, excited, and SO ready for it!
Pregnancy updates:
-Morning sickness. I woke up the morning of 28 weeks thinking about how happy I was to be in the third trimester (and hoping this would be the one trimester I wouldn’t be sick) but sadly that wasn’t the case. I’m still throwing up 1-3 times per week which is not bad compared to when it was every day! Nausea also hits at random times but it’s not a huge deal. I’m pretty used to it by now and can manage it 😉
-The baby has a name!! We aren’t sharing with anyone what the name is (sorry family!), but Caleb and I narrowed it down a few weeks ago and we’re so happy. We’ll announce his name after he arrives!
-I passed my glucose test last week! It wasn’t a pleasant experience since I was throwing up a few short hours before drinking the orange sugar drink – but getting the message that I passed and all my labs looked good made it all worth it.
-The baby is still very active! His kicks and punches are getting stronger every day and I love it (even the rib kicks).
-We have two wedding left before baby arrives… one on New Years Eve and the other in the beginning of January. I’m excited to shoot these last two winter weddings! For those who follow us on Instagram, you may have seen the struggle of finding a winter coat to fit over the bump… I finally ended up getting one at Old Navy for $35. Winning! It’s not my favorite, but it fits and keeps me warm and that’s all that matters!
-One of our sweet 2018 brides sent us some gifts off of our gift registry and it seriously made me cry! Opening up the box filled with baby gear made everything feel so real and I’m just so thankful for this next season of life AND for our amazing couples! Thank you Alli and Carter!!
