Today we have a very special person on the blog… my littler sister! Sophie is the best little sister I could ask for.
13 years ago, my dad came home as my brother and I were playing to tell us that Mommy had the baby a few hours ago.
My little brother, Josh, really wanted a baby brother and I really wanted a baby sister.
When Dad announced that it was a baby girl, I was estatic! Josh cried and I felt a little bit bad for him, but I was thrilled it was a girl!
Sophie and I have had a very special relationship throughout the last 13 years.
From us playing “house” together to driving her to school every morning, we have always been best friends.
This year was so incredibly special to me because she got to stand next to me as I married the love of my life.
She laughed with me, cried with me, and then gave an AMAZING maid of honor speech that had the crowd laughing.
Sophie means the world to me and I’m so thankful that I can not only call her my sister, but my best friend.
